Beechdean AMR Survive Chaotic Spa

  Beechdean Aston Martin Racing (AMR) contested the fifth round of the 2016 European Le Mans Series (ELMS) at the renowned Spa Francorchamps circuit. Beechdean AMR drivers Andrew Howard, Darren Turner and Alex MacDowall finished the four hour race in fifth position, maintaining their hold of second in the championship. The fifth round wasn’t plain sailing for the #99 Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE car. Unfortunately car issues forced MacDowall, who was starting the race, to pit at the end of the formations lap. Beechdean AMR Take GT4 Spoils at Snetterton

Multiple British GT Championship winning squad, Beechdean Aston Martin Racing (AMR) enjoyed a successful weekend in the sunshine at the Snetterton 300 circuit. The team competed in the seventh and eighth round of the 2016 British GT championship, in what was the penultimate event of the season. Jack Bartholomew and Aston Martin Racing factory driver Ross Gunn drove in the title challenging #407 Aston Martin Vantage V8 GT4 car. Gunning for its third straight GT4 championship win, the duo took second in the seventh round and a win in the eighth round. Beechdean AMR Set for Snett

Multiple British GT Championship winning squad Beechdean Aston Martin Racing (AMR), will look to take on their rivals at Snetterton this weekend (6th and 7th August), for the seventh and eighth round of the 2016 British GT Championship. Following a week of several team announcements; that included the withdrawal of the #1 Beechdean AMR Aston Martin Vantage V12 GT3 car, the team will field two Aston Martin Vantage V8 GT4 cars at Snetterton. The East Anglia based race circuit will feature two hotly contested British GT one hour races. Beechdean AMR GT3 Withdraws from Snetterton

Beechdean AMR had a difficult weekend at Spa Francorchamps on the 8th and 9th of July, with the GT3 retiring after a collision with a European GT4 car in the early stages of the race. The crash which took place during the first lap caused significant damage to the car.  The consequences of the collision mean that the Beechdean Aston Martin Vantage V12 GT3 car will not be taking part in the race at Snetterton. Beechdean AMR who are the current champions, have a long history in British GT and have not missed a race in the last five years. British GT Setback for Beechdean AMR at Spa

Reigning British GT championship winning squad Beechdean Aston Martin Racing (AMR) encountered a difficult weekend at Spa Francorchamps for the sixth round of British GT. The team’s GT3 and GT4 cars ran into trouble during the 2 hour race, resulting in the #407 GT4 car being the sole finisher. Beechdean AMR was one of the few teams not to test at the 7.004 km circuit in Belgium. The Aston Martin Vantage V12 GT3 car qualified at a very respectable sixth place and was driven by team owner Andrew Howard and Aston Martin Racing factory driver Ross Gunn.
