Beechdean AMR Secure Second in British GT GT4 Championship

Beechdean Aston Martin Racing (AMR) endured a difficult final round of the 2016 British GT season, but managed to successfully secure second in the GT4 drivers’ standings. Driver Jack Bartholomew, a GT rookie, also took the Silver Cup Championship. Overall the team have had a decent season and Bartholomew certainly delivered more than expected in his first year. Beechdean AMR driver Bartholomew started the 2 hour “Donington Decider” race with a genuine chance of taking the 2016 British GT, GT4 title. Bartholomew and outgoing British GT4 champion Ross Gunn, took a comfortable pole position for the Sunday two hour race. British GT - The Finale!

Reigning British GT Championship winning squad Beechdean Aston Martin Racing (AMR), will be back in action this weekend at Donington Park (10th and 11th of September), for the 2016 British GT Championship finale. The two hour race is the ninth and final race of the season and will be the last chance for each driver and all the British GT teams to score some championship points. Donington Park, that famously held the 1993 European Grand Prix, has been popular with drivers for many years. The 2.498 mile lap starts with the high speed downhill ‘Craner Curves’ before heading uphill towards two medium speed left-handers at Mclean’s and Coppice. Donington Drivers - Beechdean and Butcher

Driver Rory Butcher will join Andrew Howard for the final round of British GT at Donington Park on the 11th of September.Due to a crash at Spa Francorchamps, the Beechdean Aston Martin Vantage V12 GT3 was forced to miss its first race in over five years. Despite all efforts, the car experienced too much damage and could not take part in the race at Snetterton.Ross Gunn, unable to race in GT3 due to the damage, then moved back to GT4 and paired with Jack Bartholomew for the two rounds at Snetterton. In the hunt for the championship the decision was made to maintain the pairing through to the end of the season, leaving Howard without a driving partner for the final race at Donington...

Beechdean AMR Return to ELMS Podium at Paul Ricard

Beechdean Aston Martin Racing (AMR) successfully returned to the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) podium, following a six week gap in the championship. Beechdean AMR drivers; Andrew Howard, Darren Turner and Alex MacDowall raced together in a fiercely contested four hour race at Paul Ricard in France, where the action on the track was as hot as the weather.On Saturday afternoon, Aston Martin Racing factory driver Darren Turner brilliantly took Beechdean AMR's maiden ELMS pole position. Beechdean AMR Head South For ELMS Round Four

Beechdean Aston Martin Racing (AMR) will travel to the south of France this weekend (27th/28th August) to begin the second half of the 2016 European Le Mans Series (ELMS) at Circuit Paul Ricard.
